Something I can't quite pinpoint has me really irritable lately. I wish I could figure it out, because the negative emotions are spilling over into the good parts of my life. It's annoying.

My dog opened up my closet (because the door doesn't shut all the way) and chewed up my new sandals and a pair of underwear. I spanked him with the shoe and then tied the underwear around his head as punishment. Maybe that will help get it through his head that this is negative behavior on his part.

I went and saw Episode III at 1205 today. Definitely the best of the trilogy. It is quite impressive.

The Star Wars series is actually a Sextet. And I still say Empire is the best of the series.

Thank you captain obvious.

There are actually NINE episodes.

I was referring to the particular trilogy of episodes 1 through 3, none of which compare at all to episodes 4 through 6.

I've heard he wants to make ep. 7-9, but he won't direct them. He needs to just stay with special fx because Ep. III had amazing FX.

I agree most certainly.

He won't make any more episodes. And the entire Lucas/Star Wars mythology is blown so out of proportion.

Whether he makes them or not doesn't deny the fact that those other stories have been written.

I don't think it's blown out of proportion any more than any other successful series of films.

We will have to "geek out" on a Star Wars conversation some time. I used to be a huge Star Wars fan. I am still, of the origional, non "Greedo shot first", trilogy. Episode 1 wasn't the greatest film, but I had only nominal complaints. Episode 2 however found me giving up on the series. I was/am a fan of Boba Fett. They jacked with his story line, and I hated that. The film, which I primarily fast forwarded through, just reeked of "sell out". It felt like he had betrayed his own vision and it had been reduced to just trying to please the masses. The masses are retarded, and likely have a conglomerated IQ of about 30.

...no, I'm not bitter.

My friends all make fun of me for how drastically I reacted to the new films. I'm sorry, I make my own opinions. The more the media tries to cram something down my throat, the less interested I am, and the more I will pick out its flaws.

Um... no they aren't written. Unless you mean the Novels. No one understands that Lucas didn't even have an outline for the entire series. Star Wars was a stand alone movie until it blew up. It wasn't even episode 4 until it was RE-RELEASED right before empire came out.

*shrug*

Like I said the whole star wars mythos is blown way outta proportion.

I know they aren't written. However he did make what was called the Star Wars Bible. It was given to authors who wanted to write additional novels, comics, etc. set in the SW universe. What pissed me off to no end, is that Lucas basically chucked it into the fire and said "I'm just gonna do whatever I want" when he made these latest movies. There are tons of changes he has made that just irk me to no end. It is because I *was* such a huge fan, that these things bother me so much. True it is his creation to do what he will with it, but usually someone will stop a parent who's beating their 10 year old with a baseball bat.

my dog used to chew the crotch out of my skankiest underwear and leave it on the middle of the livingroom floor for all to see. My (now) crotchless lacey leopard print things raised many eyebrows and questions from my roomates. Since she was never actually caught in the act I used to pretend it was not in fact my dog that did it but our quiet, lanky landlord that lived next door. That made for a much funnier image (think geeky engineer sitting on the floor with panties hanging out of his mouth on either side). But it was probably Pooka.
