My mom sent this to me in an email and it made me giggle, so I've decided to share it with the other women in my life.

Quote for the day:
'Whatever you give a woman, she's going to multiply.
If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.
If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.'
So - if you give her crap,
you will receive more shit than any one human being can handle."

"Welcome to the wonderful world of Haji! The simulacra is melting."

The irony of the political statement entertains me. I kinda want the sticker...

I take this from a book I'm reading for one of my classes, Living My Life by Emma Goldman. Alex Berkman wrote it to her in a letter, just before finishing a 14 year jail sentence.

Geh stiller, meines Herzens Schlag
Und schliesst euch alle meine alten Wunden,
Denn dieses ist mein letzter Tag,
Und dies sind seine letzten Stunden!

Translated to English in a footnote as:

Go slower, beating heart of mine
And close, ye bleeding wounds
This is my final day
And these its waning hours!

I like the flow of the German as it seems much more poetic to me than the English.

"You've got your good thing, and I've got mine. And if we meet it's a miracle. And if we don't, it can't be helped."

(I know I've got this spelled wrong... I'll edit later).

You say you like my laughter, is it like this? )

Haj: I hate my life.
Mando: Why?
Haj: *points to table falling apart* This isn't why I hate my life, but just because everything is like this table.
Mando: Because it's falling apart and crooked?
Haj: Yes.

"Our love is like a well in the wildness where time watches over the wandering lightning. Our sleep is a secret tunnel that leads to the scent of apples carried on the wind. When I hold you, I hold everything that is--swans, volcanoes, river rocks, maple tress drinking the fragrance of the moon, bread that the fire adores. In your life I see everything that lives."

Cainotophilia.

An abnormal love of newness.

I can think of someone this reminds me of. Can you?

Ahahahaha!!

Haj: You could work for Fox.

Pvck: ...

Mando: I want to work for Pravda.

Pvck: Yeah I guess.

Haj: Because apparently Communists are better than Republicans.

Mando: Well of course! The Communists had more style.

Pvck: And somehow one overpowering regime has more style than another.

Haj: There is something very stylish about being in Siberia.

Mando: Of course, it really is hard to say why exactly one is more stylish than the other, they are both Red after all.

I'm not entirely recollective of what brought about this conversation, but I found it humorous. Of course, for those who were involved, please forgive me if I have not recounted it entirely as it occurred. My memory is horrible. To a point. I usually manage to remember the most useless and out of context things, but those which I truly desire to remember are lost in the depths.

"The Communists had Pravda, Republicans have FOX."

So I just came to the realization about the difference between emo kids and goths.

Goth kids whine all the time. Emo kids brag about how much they whine.

Brilliant epiphany, I think. And Rachel and Sarah agree.

Ya know, it's funny. Everyone seems to talk about those little things that make life worthwhile. "Life is made up of a series of moments tied together, and it is the combination of those moments that make life worth living." Or some sort of inane bullshit to that effect. So here is my current dilemma: All my little moments are not so much those of joy and excitement, or even simplicity, but rather those of annoyance, depression, and irritability.

Things that have annoyed me lately )

And a whole plethora of other things I can't manage to think of at the present. I think I must be depressed a bit again, which agitates me. Mostly because I don't have anything to be depressed about. Work is good, I've been seeing my friends a lot, been keeping in touch with people. Hell, I'm not even strapped for cash, which seems to be rare. I don't know what the hell is going on. Wish I could figure it out.

Or I shall be forced to attack you with my wit!!!

At least, that's what happened to Calli, albeit with a slight delay. And she wasn't referring to me directly initially, but did in her roundabout sort of way. And later was met with the wrath of Mando's wit. Mwahaha.

Unfortunately because it's been like an hour, I can't remember what I said.

In other news, I'm worth $2,030,936.09! How much are you worth?

So Noah is over.

And he was talking about looking for a job in a clothing store. He told me all about what he was planning to wear to turn in his application to show that he had fashion sense.

And he says (as though he were talking to a potential employer), "See, I'm gay. I have fashion sense. They go hand in hand. You should hire me."

Fucking hilarious. Those crazy gayboys.

Sarah was talking to Rachel about how the universe isn't in balance unless Sarah is sick and things are falling on her (like airplanes and various other objects from the sky). It was a rather strange conversation, but most are with Sarah.

So here's where my stroke of brilliance comes in. In the midst of her ranting, I said, "Oh stop complaining, Chicken Little."

I know I know, I metaphorically double over with laughter at my witty humor as well.
